THEORY AND PRACTICE OF CROPS BREEDING AND SEED PRODUCTION
The possibility of using of the ecologically geo graphic factor for breeding of white head cabbage for stable yield is represented.
MODERN TRENDS IN SELECTION OF VEGETABLE CROPS
The anther derived androgenic plants of white head cabbage cv. Nadzeja and CMS samples were obtained. The cytological analysis of ploidy level of regenerated plants and doubled haploids obtained by treatment of meristems with colchicine was performed. On the basis of androgenic doubled hap loids of white head cabbage genotypes the seed plants were developed.
The study is aimed to examine the environmental conditions and backgrounds in Russian Federationand Republicof Belarusfor utilization for breeding of Chinese cabbage and Pack Choi for resistance to accumulation of the radionuclides 137Cs and 90Sr.
The data of analysis of the interaction between the components determined the seed productivity of white head cabbage are presented. The positive correlation between the percent of seeding and poten tial/real seed productivity was revealed.
The results of estimation of the collection varieties of daikon for the agronomical valuable traits are represented. The varieties Dubinushka, Miyasige, and Agata with early ripening, high yield, and resistance to boltering were selected.
The subjects of the study were flower buds, unpolllinated ovules, morphogenic tissue of seed buds, and regenerated plants of broccoli. The data of the study are represented.
Developed by the academician Dragavtsev the method of ecologically geographic analysis of the polygenic characters proposes the study of different ecologically genetic systems such as adaptation, attraction, photoperiodic sensitivity, factors of limitation of mineral nutrition, etc.
VARIETIES OF VEGETABLE CROPS
SEED PRODUCTION AND SEED STUDIES OF VEGETABLE CROPS
Experimental data of two years study of the factors that influence on the plant sex of «zucchini» aimed at rais ing the level of hybridity for industrial hybrid seed pro duction are shown. Seeds vernalization and treatment by preparations containing 2 chloroethylphosphonic acid were used to increase the number of female flow ers on the parent plants. The exposure to silver nitrate and gibberellin on the paternal lines increased the number of male flowers.
The terms of seeding on rosette plants have been found. Affect of the elastic adhesive emulsion on the seeds loosing has been revealed.
QUALITIES OF VEGETABLE COMMODITY: VEGETABLES MEAN HEALTHY FOOD
Effect of organic and mineral fertilizers on pumpkin seeds lipids accumulation and their fatty acids com position is investigated. The influence of nutrition's composition on the seeds size, lipids content and concentration of polyunsaturated fatty acids was shown.
PLANT PROTECTION
AGRICULTURALMANAGEMENT
The combined use of fertilizers and irrigation allowed us to obtain maximum seed yield of white head cabbage up to 1,01 – 1,18 t/ha. The best results were obtained when N120P180K120 was applied after one watering after planting. In this case, the relative net income was 1357 rubles/ha and the level of profitability reached 64.8%.
The sustainability of potato production in the European countries was evaluated with the use of statistical methods. The effect of changes in yield and acreage on the production of the culture was evaluated. The stability of series levels was measured. The stability of production dynamics are measured with the use of trend models.
VARIETIES OF VEGETABLE CROPS
The problem of biodiversity conservation and use of raw plant materials for the needs of humankind is the most urgent nowadays. The introduction of new crops with improved resistance to adverse environmental conditions, diseases and pests reduces the pesticide load and improves the sustainable agriculture. Vegetable husk tomato has a great adaptive potential and it is suitable for growing in the south and in the north regions. This crop is resistant to the most com mon diseases and pests in the open field of the centralRussia. Due to the cold tolerance of husk tomato the under winter sowing in open ground is possible.
