Abstract
The results of study of influence of climatic conditions associated with vertical zonality on the defeat and spread of viral diseases, as well as on the yield of potato are presented. The use of favorable natural and climatic conditions of the mountainous province of the Dagestan Republic for establishment of production virus-free potato seeds allows to increase the potato production in Republic.
