Одна из существенных проблем в технологии получения корневого цикория – защита корнеплодов от поражения корневыми гнилями. Наиболее распространены поражения корнеплодов цикория различны¬ми патогенными видами грибов, вызывающими фомоз (Phoma rostrupii Sacc.), серую гниль (Botrytis cinerea (Р.) Fr.J), мокрую бактериальную гниль (Erwinia carotovora (Jones) Holt.). Важное место в решении этой проблемы занимает выведение новых сортов, устойчивых к основным заболеваниям и адаптированных к условиям возделывания в почвенноклиматических условиях зоны цикоросеяния. Для этого необходимо, в первую очередь, определить круг сортов-доноров признака устойчивости к корневым гнилям, как в период вегетации культуры, так и во время длительного хранения.</p><p>Материал и методика исследований. В 2018-2020 годах были проведены исследования с целью оценки генисточников разного эколого-географического происхождения (в том числе на провокационном фоне) в условиях Нечерноземной зоны РФ и выделение из них доноров устойчивости к корневым гнилям. Исследования проводили на опытном поле Ростовской ОСЦ – филиале ФГБНУ ФНЦО.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Исследования показали, что по поражаемости корнеплодов цикория корневыми гнилями образцы сильно отличались друг от друга, так Харпачи, Luxor не поражались ни на обычном, ни на провокационном фонах. Слабо поражались (менее 2%) на обоих фонах Петровский, Sleszka, Wixor. В наибольшей степени подвержены заражению возбудителями корневой гнили Французский, Albino, Wonfblane.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Relevance</title><p>Relevance. One of the significant problems in the technology of obtaining root chicory is the protection of root vegetables from the defeat of root rots. The most common lesions of root vegetables chicory various pathogenic species of fungi causing phomosis (Phoma rostrupii Sacc.), gray rot (Botrytis cinerea (R.) Fr.J), wet bacterial rot (Erwinia carotovora (Jones) Holt.). An important place in solving this problem is the breeding of new varieties that are resistant to major diseases and adapted to the conditions of cultivation in the soil-climatic conditions of the chicory-seeding zone. This requires, first of all, to determine the range of donor varieties of the sign of resistance to root rots, both during the growing of culture, and during long-term storage.</p></sec><sec><title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. In 2018-2020, studies were carried out to assess gene sources of different ecological and geographical origin (including against a provocative background) in the Non-Black Earth Zone of the Russian Federation and to isolate donors of resistance to root rot from them. Research on the Rostov Vegetable experimental station on chicory.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results.
